About your opportunity:

In this position you will:

Maintain and improve the professional standard of service and health care provided by MHAODS Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers within the district in partnership with relevant managers/team leaders and Senior Health Workers.

Identify MHAODS Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers training needs and facilitate education/training in conjunction with Senior Health Workers managers/team leaders and develop training plans at the division level.

Coordination, implementation, participation and monitoring of sustainable strategies for the recruitment and retention of MHAODS Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers.

Develop and implement quality improvement practices and strategies that will ensure enhanced and improved provision of quality, culturally safe care to the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander population residing in CHHHS with lived experience of MHAODS.
