Are you a Business Analyst with a knack for data and a background in General Insurance? The Talent Initiative is looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions for a leading insurance client.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements
  • Translating insurance business needs into clear, actionable data solutions
  • Supporting data projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements through to testing and implementation
  • Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver insights that actually move the needle
  • Ensuring solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements unique to the insurance sector

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data and analytics projects
  • Strong background in General Insurance (must-have)
  • You have hands on experience with Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter),
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills—you know how to turn business-speak into data-speak (and vice versa)
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, data quality, and supporting data migrations or transformations
  • Comfortable working in Sydney or Melbourne (hybrid/flexible arrangements available)
