Business Development Manager - Warehousing

If you're driven, strategic, and love building relationships that last—this is the role for you. Bonus points if you bring Dangerous Goods or MHF experience to the table

As a Business Development Manager focused on building our warehousing volumes, you'll play a key role in lifting utilisation of our national DC network.  You'll identify and secure new business, build long-term client relationships, thereby supporting our delivery of tailored warehousing, and 3PL solutions.

We're looking for someone who thrives on taking a consultative approach to sales—strategic, solutions-focused, and relationship-driven.


About You

  • Experience in warehouse solution selling is essential
  • Proven sales success and experience in warehousing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management—or the willingness to learn our services and operations.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and committed to daily CRM usage.
  • Consultative and helpful approach to selling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet complex client requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods (DG) (Highly desirable)

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and win new business.
  • Achieve sales and activity targets.
  • Develop long-term client relationships with a focus on retention and long-term value.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements to deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the greater Executive team on strategic growth
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Partner with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting in the CRM.
