We're seeking a self-motivated, hard-working and passionate Information Communication and Technology (ICT) professionalwho has the ability to understand and support ICT technologies to deliver ICT Services at West Gippsland Healthcare Group. The ideal candidate has been working in a service desk environment and ready to take their next step in their career. The ICT Support Officer position is responsible for resolving incidents, identifying problems and completing services request (Level 1 to Level 1.5 complexity) across multiple technology stacks. These include Microsoft windows devices, desktop software, tablets, printers, video conferencing, desk phones, smart phones, website, intranet, and clinical infrastructure to support the organisation's ICT services. The ICT services supports a wide range of clinical, operational and administrative staff.

This is a part time position of 32 hours per week, exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant.  We offer a friendly, team focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in house salary packaging and free car parking.

Our preferred candidate will have:

• A diploma level qualification in Information Technology or significant technical knowledge in Information Technology and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in providing ICT Level 1 or Level 1.5 application and/or devices support based on ITIL practices.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements.
• Responsible and mature work attitude.
• Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with a range of key stakeholders by using excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to fault find to reach an acceptable outcome.

The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

• A current ITIL Certification.
• Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.
• Previous experience within a hospital or health care environment.

IMPORTANT:Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
