THE ROLE:

  • The primary purpose of the Field Service Leading hand is performing the function of overseeing daily activities and allocating tasks to the maintenance team and contractors, ensuring cost efficiency and timely completion of tasks while actively contributing to their completion.
  • Based in Casino NSW.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Providing field support, guidance, and leadership on safety, work management, troubleshooting, fault finding, and quality of work.
  • Ensuring timely execution of daily and weekly maintenance schedules, while maintaining compliance with work management procedures.
  • Meeting maintenance targets by performing inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs on mobile equipment.
  • Monitor team performance and proactively enhance the overall capability of the team.
  • Supporting the training and mentoring of apprentices and trainees, while supervising contractors.
  • Maintaining equipment across multiple sites as well as in the workshop.
  • Helping develop and implement maintenance procedures, processes, and technology to ensure safe and efficient asset operation, providing input based on prior experience.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Australian recognized Heavy Mobile Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • High Risk License - Dogging, Rigging and Forklift highly regarded
  • HR truck license highly regarded
  • A/C license highly regarded
  • EWP & working at heights highly regarded
