ABOUT THE ROLE
- Part Time Temporary for 12 months
- 2 days/15.2 hours per week
- Band 5 - $31,476 (pro-rata) + 12% superannuation
- Flexible and hybrid work options available
Are you keen to explore a new role working closely with the South Gippsland community? Working with our Community Development Officers, you will collaborate with our departments and community partners to support community resilience and self-reliance.
You will be part of a supportive team that works in partnership with our diverse communities to encourage and support participation in community planning, project and activity development, and youth engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative and project support to the Community Development team, including areas relating to youth, community grants, Community Asset Committees, Access and Inclusion and externally funded projects
- Coordinating the production of promotional material and website content.
- Collaborating with a range of stakeholders and internal departments on community initiatives.
To be successful for this role you'll bring:
- Year 12 education or equivalent and/or certificate in business administration
- Experience in administrative or project support.
- The ability to establish and maintain highly effective relationships both internal and external to the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and experience.
- The ability to work within competing deadlines and priorities, displaying excellent time management.
