Western suburbs (werribee, Tarneit and Wyndham Vale and Geelong)

South-eastern suburbs (Cranbourne, Dandenong)

Qualifications & experience

  • Current Applied First Aid (level II) and CPR
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to implement NDIS and other disability legislated practices
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement individual participant support plans
  • Certificate IV in disability or relevant
  • Administration of medication Certificate
  • Ability to work independently with or without supervision
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Personal Care
  • Community participation
  • supporting independent living
  • Household and domestic duties - cleaning and cooking
  • Supporting healthy routines and skill's development
  • Identify and support the physical, emotional and relational needs of participants
  • Manage complex and challenging behaviours and be able to implement BSP strategies when needed
  • Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes
  • Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
  • Administering Medication

About you

Should have clear and effective communication skills and the ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families.

Should be great at relationship building by respecting yourself and others and having professional boundaries.

Should be flexibility to work over a 24/7 roster and available to work upon request.
