As the Senior Analyst - Investment Performance, you'll play a crucial role in delivering independent investment performance reporting and attribution analysis. You'll work directly with investment management and execution teams to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

In this role you will be a subject matter expert in Investment Performance and deliver impactful performance insights across portfolios, asset classes and investment options that will be integrated into the development of investment strategy. You will develop and maintain performance measurement and attribution models and ensure the accuracy and integrity of performance databases. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with investment managers on investment reviews and investment committee presentations and contribute to system and reporting improvement initiatives.  

Please note this role could be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

About you

Significant experience in investment performance analysis and reporting and a strong understanding of attribution models and methodologies, including Fixed Income attribution, is essential for success in this role. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for superannuation fund investment reporting and working knowledge of complex financial instruments and their performance measurement.

Required technical skills include proficiency with investment platforms (e.g., Simcorp, Bloomberg, Factset), advanced SQL/Python and experience with data visualisation tools such as Powerbi.  You will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities and a in depth understanding of superannuation investment structures.
