The Role:

Our Fun Dining venue Ole is currently looking for an experienced, hands on Head Chef for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and is interested in growing their career in hospitality. The position will include varying shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Rostering
  • Menu Development
  • Kitchen Management
  • Training and Recruitment
  • Implementation of Company Procedures
  • Inventory control
  • Weekly KPI management
  • Event Execution
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels
  • Conferring with in the house management team to assess satisfaction of meals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent Kitchen Management Skills
  • An excellent grasp of seasonal produce and food trends
  • Experience with Cost management
  • Experience in working towards KPI's
  • Strong Leadership attributes
  • Hands on Leadership Style
  • Extensive Food pairing knowledge
  • Menu Development Skills
  • Prior experience in planning and executing events
  • Weekend and evening availability is a must
