Synchro Partners is partnering with a leading organisation who are currently undergoing a transformation and are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong data background  to join the team

This role is ideal for someone who has progressed from a Data Analyst into Business Analysis and enjoys working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to map out current processes, design future state workflows, and capture them in clear, practical artefacts
  • Run workshops and interviews to understand business needs, then turn these into actionable requirements and user stories
  • Dive into data across enterprise systems (e.g. Salesforce, ERP) to profile, reconcile, and make sense of joins, keys, and history tracking
  • Define key metrics, hierarchies, and security rules to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and ready for reporting and analysis
  • Set data quality standards, validation checks, and ensure sensitive/PII data is handled securely and in line with governance policies
  • Partner with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to translate requirements into epics, stories, and designs for the Lakehouse environment
  • Develop and execute test cases and validation queries, while coordinating UAT with business stakeholders

Keep documentation up to date, including process maps, lineage diagrams, ERDs, and runbooks

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Hands on experience in data-heavy roles
  • Strong SQL skills for profiling, reconciliation, and testing
  • Experience with cloud/lakehouse platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Delta
  • Proven track record delivering in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with strong user story writing skills
  • Background in data quality management and secure handling of sensitive/PII data
