Publications and Communications Coordinator

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) is looking for a passionate and skilled Publications and Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Based at our central laboratory in Bowen Hills, you will play a key role in creating, developing, and supporting a wide range of publications and digital communication projects.

This position supports both content creation and project coordination for a variety of internal and external communications. You'll also contribute to digital products and play a vital part in meeting the operational and strategic goals of SNP's Client Services team.

We're seeking a strong communicator with a proven ability to write and produce compelling, high-quality content. You'll be driven, organised, and collaborative, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent results.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content—especially when interpreting complex scientific or technical information for different platforms (print, digital, and social media).

• Sharp attention to detail, including the ability to proofread and edit both basic and complex documents.

• An understanding of visual communication principles, or a willingness to develop these skills through training and feedback.

• Strong time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.

• Professionalism and care in maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience in medical or scientific writing.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar multimedia tools.

• Qualifications in medical science, journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, or related fields.
