We understand the importance of embracing new technology and use this to ensure our high quality seafood is maintained through each process from ocean to plate.
Based in the Sydney Fish Market at Pyrmont, this role interacts frequently with our sales team, customers, and depo staff. We are looking for an organised and efficient individual to interact with our customers in our small but friendly office.
Working in the fish market is a unique experience - to be honest, it's not for everyone but you if don't mind early mornings and love seafood - it has some great positives, like every afternoon off and weekday only work.
This is a casual role with your workday starting at 4am and finishing at 10am - Monday to Friday.
Key role responsibilities:
- Customer Invoicing, Receiving stock, transfers, purchase orders, credits, and EOM stock reconciliation etc
- Weekly Statements
- Daily Banking
- Customer payments
- Stationery ordering and other similar ad hoc duties
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office including excel
- Great customer Service
- General Administration experience such as filing and data entry
- Ability to work in high energy and fast paced environment
- Experience in adhering to and maintaining stock systems
A parking card for onsite parking is provided. If you intend on applying for the position and catching public transport, please check your local transport timetable prior to applying as bus/train services can be limited early in the morning.
