About the Role

ACESGroup is seeking experienced and motivated Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile Pyrmont precinct. We have multiple positions available across a variety of roles including:

  • Control Room Operator
  • Rover / Foot Patrol Officer
  • Loading Dock Officer
  • Ranger / Precinct Patrol

These roles form part of a professional, client-focused security operation delivering safe, secure, and customer-friendly services within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will play a key role in maintaining site safety and security, monitoring activities, and ensuring professional service delivery at all times.

Typical duties may include:

  • Monitoring CCTV and access control systems (Control Room)
  • Conducting regular patrols and responding to incidents (Rover/Ranger)
  • Managing deliveries, contractors, and vehicle access (Loading Dock)
  • Providing customer assistance and maintaining strong situational awareness
  • Preparing reports, logs, and escalating incidents when required
  • Provide high-quality security services in accordance with client requirements and ACESGroup standards.
  • Operate and utilise ACESGroup's technology platforms to support site safety and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Criteria

  • NSW Security Licence (1A)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)
  • First Aid and CPR (current)
  • Customer service experience
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Ability to pass a LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test
  • Full NSW Driver Licence (for Ranger role)
  • SEINS (or willing to obtain)
  • Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates/cards (or willing to obtain)
  • White Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)

ACESGroup can assist suitable candidates in obtaining the necessary qualifications via our internal Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
