Are you an experienced professional with a background in operations and pre-contracts, ready to take on a challenging role in Sydney? Freyssinet Australia is seeking a skilled Tender Engineer / Pre-Contracts Engineer to join our NSW Remedial team.

About The Role

Based in our Sydney Macquarie Park office, this position offers the opportunity to work on diverse remedial projects that focus on sustainability, making each tender unique and technically rewarding.

Duties of Pre-Contract Engineer:

Assess tender documentation and determine project size, scope, and key risks.

Lead pricing and cost estimation, in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.

Develop methodology, draft construction programs, and compile all required tender documentation.

Prepare RFIs, scope gap analyses, and RFQs for subcontractors.

Liaise with clients during tender phases and attend pre-award site meetings where required.

Assist the Bid Manager with Go/No-Go decisions and tender presentations.

Handover successful bids to delivery teams and maintain cost/productivity databases.

Apply a strong understanding of legal and contractual obligations to all proposals.

What We're Looking For

5–10 years' experience in both operations and pre-contracts/tendering, ideally on the contractor side.

Strong ability to create project programs and develop innovative methodologies.

Comprehensive understanding of public and private tender requirements.

Remedial experience or general civils background is highly desirable.

A proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
