Our Corporate Governance team is actively seeking a committed administration professional to play an integral role in our forward-thinking and collaborative team.

As a highly organised and detail-oriented individual, you will be the backbone of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all administrative functions. You'll bring a strong dedication to providing top-notch administrative support which will contribute significantly to each team member's success.

Utilise your well-equipped time management and organisation skills in this pivotal role. All the while contributing to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Providing administrative and support services to meet the requirements of the organisation and legislation
  • Raising purchase orders and process invoices
  • Distributing Governance updates and relevant publications to the Organisation
  • Assisting with the maintenance and management of Council's Legal Documents Register
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
  • Highly developed organisational, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of clients, delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed computer skills demonstrating ability in the use of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Ability to maintain a large workload with strict deadlines, and emphasis on confidentiality

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience working in Local Government, knowledge of the Local Governemnt Act

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $67,787 to $78,778.
