Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared Finance Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see operate within a collaborative framework involving Defence stakeholders, program management offices, procurement teams, and contractors to provide comprehensive financial and procurement support to a complex, high-value program.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Develop various project financial documentation
  • Track monthly budget spends in conjunction with project team to update budget cost data
  • Draft and track cost and budget comments for review by the Project Manager
  • Update, balance and maintain main budget spreadsheet requirements
  • Update Finance with relevant budget requirements for changes per schedule and PM requests
  • Liaise with PM, PSO, Project Controller, Scheduler and Finance teams regularly to ensure accuracy of finance data and phasing forecasts

What sort of skills do I need?

  • Experience within a government or Defence environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related experience
  • Prior Finance experience in a project environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process orientated with good attention to detail
  • Minimum NV1 security clearance
