Job Description
As the National Manager, HR Business Partnering, you'll work closely with the Head of Human Resources, Training and Communications and lead the charge in aligning people initiatives with business strategy. You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape culture, lift performance, and build capability across the organisation. Based at our Canberra HQ, you'll provide expert advice and drive workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement and diversity programs. You'll also lead a team of HR professionals and serve as the key point of contact for all HR Business Partner matters. You will:
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals. Drive short-, medium- and long-term HR planning to ensure the organisation has the right people, in the right numbers, at the right time to deliver our strategic and business plans.
- Lead and report on People Strategy implementation, workforce insights, and HR performance metrics.
- Develop and deliver strategic workforce planning, including forecasting, capability development, and succession planning.
- Design and implement talent management and leadership development initiatives.
- Provide guidance on complex HR matters, including performance management, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Drive employee engagement programs and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Manage compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with organisational goals.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide strategic advice on workplace relations, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
- Lead a team of HR Business Partners and HR Strategy subject matter experts.
- Continuously improve HR Strategy and Business Partnering processes and offerings to support the Adecco DFR organisation.
- Partner with the HRTC Leadership team to provide aligned, consistent and effective people capability services for Adecco DFR.
- Lead a high performing team of HR Business Partners and HR strategy subject matter experts.
Candidate's Profile

Your background will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of all major components of strategic HR related functions, employee/labour relations, management of change, diversity, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
- 10 years' experience leading HR teams for complex or large-scale organisations.
- Proven experience in HR business partnering and strategic HR leadership roles.
- Strong capability in strategic workforce planning and people analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR matters and drive business outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of workplace relations, including experience in representing the organisation.
- High-level communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in culture and engagement initiatives at an enterprise level.
- Resilient and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
