Complex Co is a Construction company focused on safety, innovation and quality within the ACT.

The team are currently looking to hire a HR/Administration Officer to assist with day-to-day business operations.

The HR/Administration Officer, will be responsible for effectively managing Administration across the company and providing support in Human Resources to the Senior Finance Manager.

This role involves a diverse range of tasks, ensuring smooth functioning and
compliance with established policies and procedures.

The HR/Administration Officer is responsible for assisting the Senior Finance Manager and Directors' implement strategies that will produce efficiency and productivity.

ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
General: Be the first point of contact for all general enquiries, monitor inboxes, answer phone calls, complete general errands, assist with data entry across departments, filing, manage shared calendars and preparation and distribution of meeting minutes and agendas.

Ordering: Monitor levels and order water, stationery, food and cleaning supplies; Complete stocktakes of uniforms and order when necessary; Organise and order promotional items.

Events: Book events where required, take the lead in organising staff events, book trade shows and staff travel.

HR RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Onboarding: Create job advertisements, setup new employees in the HR and payroll systems, adjust and send contracts, coordinate inductions, computers and vehicles as required, book probation reviews

Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by promoting a supportive work environment.

Performance Management: Assist in organising meetings and preparing paperwork.

Training and Development: Assist to identify training needs, research and book training sessions and support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.

HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, handle documentation related to employment contracts, leave, and other HR-related matters.

Attention to detail and strict confidentiality is a requirement of this role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in Administration

- Previous experience in Human Resources

- Attention to Detail

- Confidentiality
