This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your administration and customer service skills to support the diverse sections of the Environment and Planning Department, ensuring excellent service to both internal and external customers.

What You'll Be Working On

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied customer and administrative support role. You will provide high level customer service, process online development application documents, prepare and distribute Local Planning Panel business papers, and support multiple sections across the Environment and Planning Department.

What You'll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven administrative skills with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

Previous experience in local government and appointment as a Justice of the Peace (or willingness to become one) will be highly regarded.
