Join our growing, Supportive Allied Health Team to continue with our mission to provide support and add value to individuals lives which has been embedded since the 1950's. Currently seeking for a full time Adult Speech Pathologist (Part time for the right applicant).

About the role


• Predominantly Adult caseload


• Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders


• Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans


• Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties


• Coordinating with other allied health professionals and referring partners


• Provide education to clients, families and the client's community support framework


• Devising communication strategies or identifying alternative communication devices for non-verbal patients


• Aiding patients who have difficulty swallowing or chewing by designing targeted exercises

About you

As a positive role model with a can-do attitude, you will have a high degree of initiative and strong desire to achieve outstanding results for your clients. Ideally, you will have:


• At least two years' experience working as an accredited Speech Pathologist within the NDIS and/ or private sectors is desirable.


• Strong understanding of the NDIS framework


• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.


• Willingness to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and support needs of our participants.


• Passionate about teamwork and upholding McCall's inclusive values


• Strong administrative skills ensuring accuracy of processes and documents.


• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing development

Essential Criteria


• Bachelor of Science or Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent


• Eligible for SPA registration


• NDIS Workers Screening Check


• Working with Children Check


• Current First Aid and CPR certificate


• Valid Australian driver's license
