Assistant Director (2IC) / Educational Leader – Little Zak's Academy Carey Bay

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Assistant Director (2IC) / Educational Leader to join our Carey Bay team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Centre Director and lead a team of educators who share your passion for high-quality early education.

About the Role

In this leadership role, you'll:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to educators through collaboration and support
  • Assist educators to effectively implement the planning cycle and enhance educational practices
  • Lead and develop innovative and engaging educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Foster a culture of respectful communication and professional excellence within the team
  • Support the Centre Director in maintaining compliance, quality standards, and operational success

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll have:

  • ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching Degree
  • Previous experience in a leadership or 2IC/Educational Leader role (highly regarded)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EYLF and NQS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
