Batemans Bay District Funerals is part of InvoCare, an industry leader within the funeral industry currently operating over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and growing.

As a Funerals Director Assistant, you will engage in an integral role supporting our funeral services. This role will offer you new life skills, personal growth and development, the opportunity to earn qualifications and progress your career in a personally rewarding industry.

This position is casual and on-call weekend shifts may be required on some occasions.

**Duties of a Funeral Director's Assistant include**:

- Support our funeral services through the provision of vehicle and transport services ensuring vehicle presentation is at a high standard at all times.
- Working collaboratively to bring the deceased into our care with dignity and respect.
- Oversee proceedings on the day and ensure pre-arranged plans and ad-hoc requests on the day are appropriately implemented.

**About you**:

- Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery
- Professional attitude with an empathetic and compassionate approach towards people
- Be at ease working with grieving families and the deceased
- Possess a full unrestricted driver’s license
