About the role
Join the dynamic team at Stolway as a full-time Electrical Engineer based in our Melbourne office. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for custom HVAC /Analyser solutions. As part of our engineering division, you will play a key part in driving innovation and ensuring our products meet the highest safety and performance standards.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for our range of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly
- Analyse electrical performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and manuals
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for our manufacturing and operations teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering principles, technologies and industry regulations
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sectors
- Proven track record of designing and developing complex electrical systems and components
- Experience in working with PLC programming
- Exposure to Hazardous area knowledge ( IECx /ATEX preferable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and regulations
- Proficient in using CAD software and electrical design tools
