Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School Full Time Permanent Position Salary: $85,000 with 6 weeks Annual Leave

Lowther Hall is an inclusive school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, committed to excellence for all. Situated in Essendon, it is the only Anglican independent school for girls in the area. The School has a maximum enrolment of 800, a size which enables each girl to be known as an individual. Lowther Hall is a learning community in which staff and students work together to achieve the shared goal of educating the whole girl for the whole of life.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School will provide high level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Senior School. The Personal Assistant acts as the first point of contact for staff, students and external stakeholders, managing communications, scheduling and administration process with discretion, initiative and professionalism. The successful applicant will be a strong team player and enjoy working with others in a fast paced team environment.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  1. An understanding of the Lowther Hall context
  2. Previous experience in and executive assistant or senior administrative role, preferably in an educational environment.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  4. Advanced knowledge of Synergetic or other data base systems
  5. Advanced knowledge of Consent2Go
  6. An understanding of Trybooking
  7. An understanding of the Parent Teacher Online (PTO) process
  8. An understanding of the accounts invoice system Alii
  9. A current and appropriate WWCC registration
  10. Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Record Check upon appointment
  11. An understanding of child safe standards
  12. Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate – with a commitment to on-going training or willingness to obtain
  13. Current anaphylaxis management qualification or willingness to obtain
  14. Current asthma management qualification or willingness to obtain
