About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Construction Supervisor to join our dedicated team, based across the Hunter region, primarily Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. As a

Construction Supervisor at Montgomery Homes, you'll be part of a company with a proven track record of fostering a positive work environment, cohesive teams, and delivering high-quality homes that leave our clients delighted.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Project Management:Effective management of builds to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Scheduling and Workflow Management:Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to ensure efficient sequencing of trades and timely delivery of materials.
  • Quality Assurance and Inspections:Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and client expectations.
  • Issue Resolution and Problem Solving:Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly, including delays, material shortages, or trade conflicts, to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, variations, and incidents for both internal and client reporting purposes.
  • Budget Monitoring and Cost Control:Track project expenses and manage variations to ensure financial targets are met without compromising quality.
  • Strong Communication:Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, subcontractors, and team members effectively, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and successful outcomes.
  • WHS Compliance:Ensure all personnel on site comply with relevant WHS standards.

To Succeed in This Role, You Must Possess:

  • Previous experience in construction site supervision.
  • A valid drivers license.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Dispute resolution skills.
  • Effective communication with a strong focus on customer service.
