The Role

We are seeking motivated Conservation and Ecosystem Management Field Workers to join our team. You will be part of a crew carrying out on-ground vegetation management, bush regeneration, and environmental works across a variety of sites including council land, utilities, infrastructure corridors, and natural areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake bush regeneration and weed control (manual, mechanical, and chemical methods)
  • Assist with vegetation management works such as mowing, brush cutting, and chainsawing
  • Support replanting, erosion control, and site rehabilitation projects
  • Operate and maintain field equipment safely (mowers, sprayers, chainsaws, etc.)
  • Follow safe work method statements (SWMS) and company safety procedures
  • Work effectively in a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
Skills & Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent) – required
  • ChemCert accreditation – highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence (manual preferred)
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – required
  • Chainsaw operations ticket (Level 1 or above) – desirable
  • Experience in vegetation management, landscaping, or natural area restoration
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in all conditions
