The Role

Join a close-knit, cohesive and supportive team within a Specialist environment. Our client is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist that is ready to take the next step and join their administrative team at their clinic in the Wesley Hospital. You will be ready to step up and perform more secretarial duties to their residing Surgeon in an efficient and confidential manner. This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires professionalism, interpersonal skills, flexibility, energy and attention to detail.

Duties

  • Being the primary point of contact and support for a high performing Surgeon.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to ensure the high level of patient care.
  • Handle patient billing and receipting for consultations, maintaining accuracy and compliance with financial protocols.
  • Preparation of surgery quotes, scheduling theatre procedures and managing post-operative appointments in collaboration with the Surgeon

About You

  • Minimum of one year of medical secretary experience, ideally in a specialist environment.
  • Familiarity with both medical and general administration duties.
  • Experience with medical software.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
