Join our team at MARAE IZAKAYA

MARAE IZAKAYA is an exciting Japanese Izakaya & bar located at Chadstone Shopping Centre. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Hall / Dining Supervisor to oversee and manage all operational activities at our venue.

We are looking for a strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing business with ongoing opportunities and attractive rewards for the right candidate.

What you will need:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • At least 1 years of experience in a Restaurant Dining Manager role, with a proven ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, confidence, active listening, always willing to share ideas and support colleagues.
  • The ability to communicate well with customers in English.
  • Must hold a current Australian visa with work rights or be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Japanese language skills are a plus.

Working Hours

  • 30-35 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Flexible roster, including evenings (Mon-Sun).

About the Benefits

  • Hourly wage:
  • Weekday : $36 + Super.
  • Weekend : Legal weekend hourly rate applies + Super.
  • Public Holiday : Legal Public Holiday hourly rate applies + Super.
