Brooklyn kitchen PTY LTD is seeking to employ a qualified and dedicated Chef to join its kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's established menu.
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation, flavour, and portioning.
  • Support the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels, inspect incoming deliveries, and help reduce kitchen waste.
  • Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Maintain portion control and contribute to the overall cost-efficiency of kitchen operations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
  • Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication, time management, and teamwork abilities.
  • Sound understanding of food safety and kitchen health regulations.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering high culinary standards.

Salary Range:

8 hour shift

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
