Welcome to Wingate Avenue Children's Co-Operative We are proud to be a not-for-profit center, providing high-quality care and education to the Ascot Vale area and surrounds since 1976.

Due to increased occupancy and our commitment to maintaining above-ratio staffing in every classroom, we are currently seeking full-time educators to join our 3-year-old Kinder Room as well as our Nursery Room.

Our Rooms:

  • Seeds Room (6 weeks to 12 month): Up to 10 children per day, supported by 3 educators and a break cover.
  • Stalks Room (3 to 4 years old): Up to 16 children per day, supported by 2 educators, an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), and a break cover.

Our Leadership Team:

  • Experienced Centre Director – has worked in many different roles within the centre and understands each position, allowing them to provide the support educators need the most.
  • Full-Time Educational Leader – brings international experience from Italy and expertise in the Reggio Emilia approach.
  • Service Administrator – with more than a decade of experience in the early childhood sector.
