BellchambersBarrett is a Canberra-based advisory firm working with public and private sector to deliver high-quality professional services. We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide high-quality support across our Advisory and Assurance practice. This pivotal role ensures the smooth execution of internal processes and Partner-facing activities, enhancing overall business efficiency and compliance.

About the Role

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Coordinate and track proposal and tender deadlines to support timely submissions
  • Manage client onboarding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support reporting and business development initiatives across the practice
  • Maintain operational excellence through effective administrative support
  • Uphold security standards as the designated security officer, supporting Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) related requirements with diligence and integrity
  • Collaborate with Partners and internal teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery

What You'll Bring

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience in administrative or operational support roles, with a minimum of five years' experience ideally within professional services
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with compliance, reporting, and tender processes
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Experience or understanding of DISP requirements is highly desirable
  • Due to client requirements candidates must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance
