TCL Electronics Australia is seeking a skilled Technical Support Administrator – HVAC to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise for our range of air conditioning and home appliance products.

What you'll be doing

We currently have a position for an experienced trades or tech support person to provide appropriate in-house technical advice and support within Customer Care department for our HVAC products. You will liaise with key internal stakeholders, including our product, service, and sales teams, as well as our external service contractors, to provide product and service support. Liaising with end user customers will also be a key function in this role. You will also provide specialist technical and help desk support for all our Aircon products.

What we're looking for

  • Trade qualifications in HVAC would be highly regarded
  • Technical support experience with heating and cooling products.
  • Experience in spare parts planning & inventory management.
  • Experience in refrigerated air conditioning would be an advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with service technicians and providers.
  • Intermediate general computer skills and competency using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Willing to perform administrative work – credit claims, goods issued & received.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with retailers and end users.
  • Confident team player who can work across inter-departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
  • Positive, customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for providing outstanding service
