The Opportunity

We are currently on a journey to revolutionise our business, and we're looking for the next generation of talented IT PM's with a hunger for bringing our vision to life. As such, we are currently looking for a collaborative and results driven IT Project Manager in our head office in Melbourne in Yaraville.

Reporting into the IT Business Partner in Melbourne, the primary focus of this role is to manage application/infrastructure change projects for the Wilmar business, which will deliver new functionality or process improvements to transform the business. The role will manage project teams, including internal/external IT resources and business project resources, to efficiently deliver identified project outcomes, objectives and benefits.

This role will offer a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in IT Project Management and Business Analysis.

What you will do:

• Bring application & IT project management knowledge and skills to the group, along with innovation to the Wilmar IT applications footprint
• Manage relationships and collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties to achieve outcomes
• Follow a well-defined IT project management process
• Deliver projects that align with key initiatives and IT PMO governance
• Provide feedback to the IT Business Partner about further opportunities to implement new initiatives within the group
• Align with global standards and strategy, leveraging common solutions, pricing advantage and utilising internal as well as offshore team expertise

What you need:

• 5 + years of IT Project Management experience
• A self-motivated and highly driven persona
• Polished communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to quickly adopt IT PMO Governance and budget management practices
• FMCG or manufacturing experience is highly desired
• ERP - SAP experience preferred
• Infrastructure and Mobility experience preferred
• Experience as a IT Business Analyst capturing business requirements highly regarded
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in an IT related discipline
• Industry qualification or experience with application development/delivery
