ATS Rehab is seeking a warm and organised part-time Allied Health Receptionist to become a valued member of our growing team in Brisbane 3 days a week. While our main office is located in Greenslopes, this role will also require you to work at our Beenleigh office.

As our Allied Health Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by delivering outstanding customer service and essential administrative support to both our allied health practitioners and our patients. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our expanding healthcare services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to patients upon their arrival
  • Efficiently managing appointment scheduling, patient records, and addressing inquiries via phone and in person
  • Supporting our financial processes through tasks such as billing and invoicing
  • Ensuring the reception and patient waiting areas are clean, tidy, and well-organised
  • Offering general administrative assistance to our allied health team as needed
  • Opening and closing responsibilities, opening as early as 7:30AM and closing as late as 5:30PM dependant on visiting doctor hours

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service position, ideally within a healthcare or medical environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to interact with patients, practitioners, and colleagues with warmth and professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, with preference given to those familiar with medical practice management systems, particularly Cliniko
  • A naturally warm, friendly, and helpful attitude, coupled with a genuine dedication to providing excellent patient care
