About the Role:

As a Night Auditor at Dorsett Gold Coast, you will play an essential role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly during the overnight shift. You'll be the go-to person for all night-time guest enquiries, from check-ins and check-outs to resolving any concerns and ensuring the financial integrity of the day's transactions. It's an exciting role where you will balance guest service with important back-end operational tasks. You'll be entrusted with overseeing the night audit process and making sure everything is set for the next day, and the bonus is that you'll clock off just in time to catch the sunrise over the beach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest check-ins/check-outs, address enquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly during the night shift
  • Perform daily financial audits, ensuring accuracy in transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate reports for management
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure communication is passed on to the morning team, ensuring a smooth handover and coordination across departments
  • Address complaints or discrepancies, offering solutions and escalating issues when needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Opera Cloud experience (preferred, not essential as training is provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a guest-focused mindset
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
