About the role:
Are you passionate about music and the law? Universal Music Australia is seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our Sydney office as the Team Coordinator.
This role is a 12-month parental leave contract
. Throughout this contract, you will gain invaluable experience by supporting the SVP, Legal & Business Affairs and collaborating with teams across the business to help drive success for Australia's leading music company. This role would suit a recent law graduate who is looking for experience in the music and entertainment industry.
*This position will have a start date of February 2026*
- Assist with the preparation, review, and processing of legal documents and contracts.
- Coordinate meetings, correspondence, and communications within the Legal & Business Affairs team.
- Support the SVP and department in managing compliance and business processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for legal and business affairs matters.
About you:
- 0-2 years PQE
- Law degree with an intellectual property elective
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Previous experience in a legal or business affairs role is preferred
- Loves music
