Design & Build are partnered with a highly respected mechanical services contractor that delivers end-to-end HVAC and building services solutions across commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. Known for their design & construct capability and collaborative approach, they are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects up to $20m.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope project requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with the design and project delivery teams on D&C projects.
  • Contribute to bid submissions, proposals, and handovers to project teams.

About you:

  • Around 5 years' estimating experience within the Australian HVAC/mechanical industry.
  • Proven background working on design & construct (D&C) projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
