Qualifications & experience

  • Engineering, Construction Management or similar Professional Tertiary Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management
  • Expertise in subdivisions, earthworks, civil infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, organisational, team management, and people skills
  • Demonstrated effective management of whole of project to deliver successful projects
  • Commercial experience to include project planning through full project life cycle
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects and activities
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • System-orientated person with advanced computer skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  1. Lead projects to a successful completion with inclusive forward planning
  2. Demonstrate leadership in employee development, HSEQ and risk management
  3. Ensure that adequate project resources are available to complete projects in a timely manner
  4. Create open communication channels with all staff, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders
  5. Negotiate all commercial aspects with suppliers, subcontractors and client
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards
  7. Collaborate with all other parties to achieve common project objectives
  8. Review project plans and non-conformances and providing subsequent remedial actions
