Position Summary

We are seeking a
Project Engineer (Pumping Systems)
to join the Brisbane-based team.

In this role, you will manage the delivery of pump station projects across Brisbane and Queensland. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards.

This role provides the opportunity to work across all phases of turnkey projects, from design through to commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of pre-cast concrete and fibreglass pump station projects.
  • Coordinate design reviews, approvals, and technical documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resourcing requirements.
  • Provide technical input throughout construction and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery and engineering practices.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
  • Previous experience delivering water or wastewater projects for commercial, industrial or water utility clients.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
