Electrical Project Engineer

Electrical Contractor Licences: Qld - 3370, NSW C, NT - C1987

About The Role
In this permanent full-time role, you will report to the Industrial Division Manager and play a key part in our company's success with a key focus on industrial projects. This role is based in our Brisbane head office with regular site visits across Qld, NSW and NT.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting with project tenders and proposals.
• Project Planning and tracking to ensure key milestones are met. Identify and resolve unexpected issues from technical glitches to scheduling conflicts to keep projects on track.
• Providing crucial technical and engineering advice and oversight to our on-site project teams.
• Managing projects, including overseeing Arnold team members, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide regular progress reporting (both externally and internally), and liaise with clients to resolve issues including controlling Requests for Information, Technical Queries, and Variation Management.
• Managing cost control, reporting, forecasts and contractual obligations.
• Ensuring projects meet all specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Developing cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions.
• Ability to work in remote locations.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: You must have a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. RPEQ registration is a plus but not essential.
• Experience: You have on-site industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering and construction. You also have proven project management experience.
• Skills: You are proficient in written and verbal communication, able to prepare correspondence, reports, and instructions. You will have advanced computer skills, including the use of project management software like MS Project. You are organized, flexible, and capable of working a wide range of tasks and irregular hours.
