Visionary Optical is an independent optometry practice in the heart of East Fremantle. We are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and high-quality frames to our community.

We are looking for an Optical Assistant/Receptionist to join our tight knit team. This is an opportunity for you to join a practice that values eye health and excellent customer service above all else. You'll be working alongside a dedicated and supportive team of optical dispensers and optometrists in a high end busy practice.

You will be the first person our patients see when they arrive instore, so you'll need to have a welcoming, approachable manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills. It is essential that you have previous retail experience in a customer facing role.

Your role will include:

  • Welcoming our customers into store
  • Assisting patients with frame selection and providing product information
  • Reception tasks- including taking payments, answering calls, booking appointments and preparing banking
  • Conducting preliminary testing prior to a patient's eye exam


• Excellent presentation


• Must have full working rights in

in Australia (e.g permanent residency or citizenship).
