Optical Dispenser

We're an independent upmarket optometry practice on Market Street, right in the heart of Fremantle – and we're looking for a passionate optical dispenser to join our close-knit team.

Our store is nestled among a hub of Freo's finest boutique cafe's and vintage stores, and we stock a curated selection of limited-edition, handcrafted frames from the likes of Jacques Marie Mage, Anne et Valentin and MOSCOT NYC, just to name a few.

In this role, you'll be responsible for;

• Assisting our clients with frame selection and lens options.
• Learning the makes and story of each of our leading frame craftsmen.
• Ensuring efficient friendly and professional communication with clients.
• Effectively work within a small team of qualified dispensers.
• Willing to learn to use of pre-testing equipment, such as the ZEISS iProfiler.

Essential Criteria:

• Cert IV in Optical Dispensing or are in training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent presentation.
• Intermediate computer skills, and willing to learn Optomate system.
• Available for work 2-3 days a week, including Saturday's.
• Must have full working rights in Australia (e.g., permanent residency or citizenship)
