About the role

Mulgrave Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and organised Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the hospital, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. What you'll be doing

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy

  • Managing general office administration tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and administrative systems

  • Assisting with the coordination of hospital appointments and schedules

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and other stakeholders

  • Supporting the broader administrative team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

  • Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office suite

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

  • A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour with a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
