*Digital Delivery Manager – Data Centres At Goodman:*
The Digital Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in embedding BIM process on data centre projects across the Australian business, while overseeing BIM process and software implementation.
Focusing on data centre projects, managing the application of Goodman BIM protocols and BIM Execution Plans (BEP) on these projects will form a key part of your role, ensuring consistent BIM usage by all project partners. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the implementation of Goodman's information management and design standards, ensuring successful digital delivery of information at design, construction and handover stages.
The candidate will report to the Project Manager for each data centre, the AU General Manager, Data Centre Delivery and support other Regional BIM Leads.
*Day To Day:
Project Information Management*
- Serve as Goodman's primary contact for digital delivery on data centre projects in the Australian region.
- Lead the integration of regionalised Goodman BIM processes within the Australian business on data centre projects. Ensure seamless adoption and proficiency among internal teams and external project partners.
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) setup, enabling the appointment of an external Lead Appointed Party who will oversee the process thereafter, including document control, naming conventions, review workflows, and issue resolution.
- Oversee, support, and audit the document & information management responsibilities of the Lead Appointed Party, lead designer, Managing Contractors and their trades in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or Revizto.
Project Compliance
Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to ISO 19650 and Goodman's information management standards, such as the BIM Protocol, Project BIM Requirements and BIM execution plans:
Ensure model-based coordination and data management are performed.
- Audit and review models/data in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, Revizto, Solibri, etc.
- Lead BIM kick-off meetings for projects specifically related to Data Centres.
Collaboration and Communication
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Act as a central point of contact for CDE-related queries, providing guidance and support to project teams working on data centre projects
- Collaborate and train internal teams and project partners, including external consultants, to streamline BIM-related processes and enhance project efficiency, with a specific focus on data centre projects.
- Lead meetings, workshops, and presentations, engaging both upstream customers and downstream supply chain partners.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients on project status, risks, and key decisions
- Work with other Goodman Regional BIM Leads to ensure projects are delivered to the required Goodman standards.
- Act as Internal SME for master planning, conceptual and schematic design phases, advising Design Managers & Consultants on strategic design.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BIM methodologies, with a focus on their application in data centre projects.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BIM processes, advocating for the adoption of best practices, particularly on data centre projects under your management.
*Requirements:*
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in delivering international multi-disciplinary BIM projects, with practical experience as a Digital Delivery Manager, BIM Lead, or BIM Manager in the data centre industry.
- Proficiency in Common Data Environment platforms and processes, with practical experience in project delivery, including expertise with ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) Docs, Build and Cost Management modules.
- Proficiency in authoring software, primarily Revit, and model reviewing software such as Navisworks, Revizto and/or Solibri.
- Proficiency in M365 (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) with an understanding of data validation and data management principles.
- Sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, ICT, security systems, and civil, structural, and architectural practices within data centres.
- Intimately familiar with international BIM and asset management standards, such as ISO19650 and ISO55000 series, and be an expert in using information management and digital construction processes - driving value for each stakeholder.
- Strong understanding of data management standards such as COBie, Uniclass, and Uniformat.
