Trainer/Assessor - Diploma of Nursing

TrEd College a private Vocational Educational Provider based in Sydney. We specialise in providing nationally recognised Qualifications in the Health and Community Care sector to international and domestic students by offering Short courses, Certificate courses, and Diplomas.

The position is for a Diploma of Nursing Trainer. The major attributes and responsibilities include:

• developing, managing, and continuously improving the education content and curriculum
• ensure compliance, including preparation for, and attending registration and compliance audits with the various regulatory bodies including NMBA, ANMAC, and ASQA
• demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective workplace relationships with relevant stakeholders and team members in a teaching environment
• deliver teaching and learning programs and provide educational leadership through support to other educators and demonstration of 'good practice'.
• experience in nurturing, and supporting internal staff and students
• is energetic, passionate and excited about a new challenges
• knowledge of the current Enrolled Nursing curriculum (HLT54115)

• A current Certificate IV in TAE 40116 or Diploma in Training and Assessment. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
• Relevant Industry experience with current engagement with the industry in one or more of the following areas:
• General Nursing
• Clinical Nursing
• Aged Care Nursing
• Familiarity with the ANMAC Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse and the NMBA Competency Standards for the Enrolled and Registered Nurses.
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and relevant, current, and at least 5 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrated academic teaching experience of at least 2 years in the recent past, including planning, delivering, evaluating, and assessing clinical skills and classroom-based training
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Police Check
