Senior Project Officer – Bail Court Centralisation - Clerk Grade 9/10

- Clerk Grade 9/10 (between $125,693 - $138,510 plus super & annual leave loading)

Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About The Role
The Senior Project Officer will support and implement projects relating to the change in service delivery to centralised bail courts. The role will also manage and/or contribute to other projects and/or Criminal Law initiatives in collaboration with the Criminal Law executive team and other stakeholders.
About You
As a Senior Project Officer, you will continue the implementation of the bail centralisation model and provide ongoing assistance with the rostered hybrid remote and in-person shift model for regional weekend bail court. You will work with the Bail Centralisation Manager to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery and address operational issues through staff consultation. With strong project management skills, you will oversee Crime Division initiatives, ensuring projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and scope. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be key to enhancing service outcomes.

The essential requirements for this role
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
