About Us: ADEP – Assistance Dog Empowering People is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving people's lives through the support and empowerment that assistance dogs bring. The Role: We are seeking a volunteer Legal Advisor to join our Advisory Board. This role is ideal for a lawyer or legal professional passionate about giving back, offering strategic guidance, and helping shape the ethical and legal foundation of a growing NPO.

Key Contributions:

  • Provide legal insight on governance, compliance, and contracts
  • Offer guidance on policies and risk management
  • Support the board in decision-making as the organisation develops

About You:

  • Qualified lawyer or legal professional (any area of practice welcome)
  • Interest in animal welfare, human services, or community impact
  • Collaborative, ethical, and excited to contribute to something meaningful
