**About SAFIA**

South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA) Inc. is a not-for-profit collective industry body bringing all aspects of the South Australian fashion industry together. Our purpose is to promote, support and grow the industry in South Australia.

We are looking to appoint a new Board member to complement and extend the skills and capacities of the current Board.

**Capability and Skills Required**:
We are looking for someone with experience in Board positions, with proven experience contributing and being an active member. Ideally you will have an interest and passion for the fashion industry and bring your commercial experience to contribute to the current strategy. The key responsibilities are listed but not limited to:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Participating actively in Board meetings, discussions, and decision-making processesProviding independent and objective judgment on matters relating to the SAFIA's operations and strategic directionContributing expertise, insights, and networks to support the SAFIA's mission and objectivesUpholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all Board activities
