About the Role

We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one in-home support for a participant residing in Glenwood.

This requirement is based on participant preference and is a genuine occupational need.

Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional community outings.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work directly in the participant's home to provide tailored, person-centred support, including:

  • Daily living assistance (meal prep, dressing, personal care, household tasks)
  • Supporting mobility and assisting with safe transfers
  • Communication and cognitive support as required
  • Encouraging structured routines and meaningful daily activities
  • Accompanying the participant during community access or appointments
  • Offering companionship, emotional support, and respectful engagement
  • Maintaining a warm, safe, organised and supportive home environment

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support
  • Experience with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, ABI or psychosocial needs is highly regarded
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses) or valid medical exemption
  • Familiarity with NDIS practice standards and participant-centred care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently while following care plans
  • Valid NSW Driver Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • Valid working rights in Australia
