At Origin, being useful is more than a tagline - it's how we approach work every day. As a collective, we're a team that thrives on finding better ways, working together, and owning our impact. From powering homes to delivering award-winning internet and helping to lead Australia's energy transition. If you're driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, we'd love to have you on the journey.
About The Role
An exciting opportunity to join our passionate Community Battery team, as the Product Development Manager, is now available.

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and MVP through launch, operation, and iteration.
- Define and deliver the 6–24-month product roadmap in partnership with strategy, digital and technology teams.
- Drive a customer-centric approach, validating problem/solution fit and ensuring strong product-market fit.
- Lead and align a small cross-functional team to execute against the roadmap and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market and marketing strategy with Customer Growth, Marketing, Brand and Retail.
- Ensure commercial viability, including product performance, pricing, planning, reporting and market trend monitoring.

You're driven by curiosity, creativity, and commercial thinking, and you thrive at the intersection of product, marketing, and design.
You're an organised self-starter who builds strong relationships and brings people together to get things done. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and can facilitate alignment across teams in a pragmatic, fact-based way. You're comfortable challenging the status quo and energising others around new ideas.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in product management and/or design, with proven success in new product development and innovation.
